How to Book

You can book via our secure online booking system, but should you have any questions or prefer to make a bank transfer, please do not hesitate to call before making your reservation online.

By arrangement we will at most times be able to hold a booking open for a few days pending your confirmation. This will enable you to check and book flights etc without being obliged to go ahead with the booking.

At the current time we are offering flexible Covid19 booking terms for direct reservations this summer.  Please contact us for further information.

In order to confirm a reservation, we ask for a deposit of 30% to be paid immediately and the balance is due for payment 8 weeks before the date of arrival. Any bookings made less than 8 weeks before the date of arrival require payment in full.

Payment can be made by card online or via bank transfer (in Euros to Spain or in Sterling to the UK).

All prices quoted are per house per night for standard occupancy. There are extra charges for additional beds, baby cots, etc. Any day arrival and departure is permitted. Minimum stays apply during particular dates, but these can be waived if there is a gap between existing bookings.

Arrival and Departure Times

The standard check-in time is from 16.00 h and check-out is by 11.00 h. We will always try to assist with an earlier check-in or later check-out. However, this is always subject to availability and must be requested in advance. Please do let us know your expected time of arrival if possible.

Cancellation Policy

Please refer to the cancellation clause on the terms and conditions page. It is recommended that you have suitable holiday travel insurance to cover this eventuality.

Paying for your booking

At the current time we are offering flexible Covid19 booking terms for direct reservations this summer.  Please contact us for further information.

Deposit: A 30% deposit is payable at the time of booking. Payment of this deposit secures your booking and confirms your acceptance of these terms and conditions. The balance (70%) is payable 8 weeks before your arrival date.

Bookings made less than 8 weeks before the holiday starts will require payment in full immediately. If you fail to make a payment due to us, in full and on time, the booking will be deemed to have been cancelled. Any deposit which has already been paid will not be refundable.

Payment: Deposits and final payment can be made by bank transfer, or paid by credit/debit card. Details will be given with your booking information. See also Traveller’s Risks here.

Pricing

Included in the price:

All gas and normal electricity is included in the price, as well as all towels and bed linen, which are changed weekly. Pool towels can be hired for a small charge.

Air conditioning is available in all houses and if required a meter card can be purchased costing 5€. This same system is used in winter to provide heating. Firewood for the wood-burning stoves can also be bought on site at a cost of 6€ per crate.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the complex.

Your accommodation

As you will appreciate, this is to allow adequate time to clean the cottage before the next guests arrive. However, we will always try to be flexible whenever bookings permit and in any event, can always store luggage if required. You would also have the pool terrace available and could, if open, use the restaurant facilities.

Your obligations

You undertake to behave in a proper manner; to avoid causing nuisance or annoyance to us, neighbours or other holidaymakers. You are responsible for the actions and behaviour of the other members of your party who are staying at or visiting the property during the rental period.  Details of any pets must be given at the time of booking.

You agree to keep and leave the property and the furnishings, kitchen equipment, crockery, glasses, bedding and towels clean and in good condition.

You undertake to ensure that no more than the maximum number of people listed in your booking stay in the property.

You should not use towels, blankets or linen supplied in the property outside. Please supply your own towels for outdoor use or hire for a small charge our pool towels.

You should not remove any protective mattress covers provided.

As we are situated in the heart of the countryside there are drops and rock formations around the complex and you must make sure your children and all members of your party are aware of any dangers.

Glassware should not be used near or adjacent to the swimming pool. To maintain a high level of hygiene, young children and babies should wear swimming nappies if required and all users should shower before entering the pool. Sun creams should be the waterproof type.

If babysitting is offered, the employment of babysitters is entirely at your own risk and you should satisfy yourself that you are happy to leave your children in the care of another person.

Safety: You will understand that the use of facilities such as swimming pools entails a certain risk. The use of such amenities (including any sports and recreational equipment) is entirely at your own risk, and due care and attention should be paid at all times. Gates into the pool enclosure should never be propped open and young children must always be supervised. Children under the age of 14 should not be left unsupervised; there should be no diving or jumping in from the pool side.

If you bring a pet with you, it is not allowed on beds or furniture, or in any communal facilities, such as the swimming pool. Pets should not be left unattended in the property, and dogs should be kept on a lead at all times within the boundaries of the complex including the garden.

If you cancel or amend your booking

If you need to cancel or amend your booking you must contact us as soon as possible. A cancellation will not take effect until we receive written confirmation from you. Whilst we will endeavour to change your booking, we cannot guarantee that any or all of your requests can or will be accommodated. If your change incurs extra costs, these will be added to the total rental due. We reserve the right to charge a small fee of 25€ to cover administration costs associated with such changes.

Cancellation:

• Up to 8 weeks before the arrival date there is no refund of the deposit paid.

• 4 to 8 weeks before the arrival date 15% of the total cost will be refunded, provided that the full amount has been paid.

• Less than 4 weeks before the arrival date there is no refund.

Refunds may attract a small administrative fee of 25€.  Any credit card charges levied will not be refunded. As stated below you should have travel insurance to cover the costs of unforeseen events.

Insurance

Travel Insurance: It is imperative that you have travel insurance to cover all eventualities including sickness.

For residents of the European Union, it is also advisable to apply for a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) before travelling. This will give the holder rights to access healthcare free of charge in Spain and other European Union countries whilst on holiday. The EHIC does not cover all medical costs or repatriation to your home country, so you must still take out adequate travel insurance. It is usually possible to apply for the EHIC online, free of charge – check with the Department of Health in your own country for further information.

Damage

Breakages: You undertake to take good care of the property and its fittings and furnishings. Please treat the properties like they were your own. You should leave all furniture, fittings and fixtures in the same position and condition as you found them on your arrival.  You are to leave the property in a very clean and tidy condition, having reported any breakages or other problems to us at the earliest opportunity.

We understand that breakages do happen! Please do not replace broken items but inform us at the earliest opportunity. Breakages will be treated on a case by case basis, and costs, repair or replacement will be charged to you.

Our obligations

Force Majeure: There are certain things that are outside our control and we do not accept any responsibility for any damage or loss as a result of 'force majeure'. This means an event beyond our reasonable control, which we could not foresee or avoid, including but not limited to: strike, lock-out, labour dispute, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with a law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, snow and storm, difficulty or increased cost in obtaining workers, goods or transport and other circumstances affecting the supply of goods or services.

We cannot be held responsible for the breakdown of mechanical equipment such as pumps, boilers, swimming pool filtration systems, nor for the failure of public utilities such as water, gas and electricity.

Complaints

Every effort is made to ensure that you have an enjoyable holiday. If however, you have any cause for complaint it is important that remedial action is taken as soon as possible. It is essential that you contact us as soon as a problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved.

The competition is open to anyone 18 years or over except employees of Cantueso Periana S. L. and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

 

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

 

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

The route to entry for the competition is to like the post on our Facebook Page.

 

Any additional action (including sharing a post, commenting, watch party, tagging etc) are done so at the entrant’s discretion and do not impact the outcome of the giveaway.

 

We have the right to allow more than one entry per competition at times. We will notify specifically in the post if this is the case

 

Closing date for entry will be stated in the post of the Facebook page. After this date, the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

 

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The prize will be clearly stated in the Facebook Post.  It is a two-night stay for two people in a one-bedroom cottage (accommodation only).

 

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

 

Winners will be chosen at random via the software platform that we will share if anyone wants to know more

 

The winner will be notified by private message on Facebook and within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

 

The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.  The stay must be taken within 12 months of the closing date of the competition.

 

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
