Information About the Cantueso Complex

All cottages are equipped for self-catering with an American style open plan kitchen/dining area. A gas cooker and gas water heater (gas included in house cost) is standard as are all the usual pots and pans needed for cooking. You will also find cutlery, glassware, tableware and a fridge. Microwave ovens are also available but should be requested at time of booking. Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors are in every kitchen.

Sitting Room:

Table and chairs and a sofa. TV and DVD player. Enclosed log burning stove.

Bedrooms:

Good quality mattresses, and all bed linen (changed weekly), bed side tables with lights. Radiators/fans. Some cots, stair gates and high chairs are available for babies, but must be requested at time of booking.

Air-conditioning:

Some houses now have air-conditioning, which gives cooling in summer and heating in winter. Inverter technology is used making them very economic to use. If you would like a house with these facilities please mention when booking. Payment is made with meter cards, meaning you only pay for the electricity used

Outside:

All houses are surrounded by gardens and have a private terrace with a BBQ, chairs and a table. BBQ fuel is not provided. Around the pool area are sun beds and parasols for your use.

Games facilities:

In the games room there is a full size table tennis table, and darts board free for you to use. There is also a billiard table, and table football which take coins. Mountain bikes may also be hired from here. There is also a play area for small children with swings, sand pit and a slide, these are conveniently situated close by the restaurant terrace. A football and ball games area is also available within the complex.

Swimming Pool:

The pool is 12 x 6 metres and has a depth of half a metre in the shallow end increasing to 2 metres. It is not guarded and parents must supervise children at all times. The pool has the latest purification system, which uses salt water to generate chlorine. There is not enough salt to taste but bathing is extremely comfortable in these "soft" water conditions.

Internet access:

Wi-Fi Internet access is provided free of charge on the terrace and in the restaurant.

In each house you will find a comprehensive guide to the Cantueso Complex and area.

Washing machine:

A machine is provided for your use and is situated in the laundry room along with an iron and board (4€ per load) . There is washing line alongside and in each house there is a mini clothes airer.

Disabled Access:

We have disabled access into the restaurant and some houses, but please let us know exactly what is required at the time of booking.

Animals:

Pets may be allowed after consultation. No aggressive or badly behaved dogs are permitted and a deposit will be required to cover any damage that may be caused. Dogs must be kept on a lead or under complete control at all times, and exercised in the designated area. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after any accidents.
